This is a blog dedicated to publicizing people who drive like idiots.

I hesitated creating this web site because there’s always the possibility that I could be wrong… what if some parent just got a call their kid is sick or injured, and is hauling ass to get to the child?  I would completely support aggressively going to one’s child’s aid.

Then you have other people who are inconsiderate, reckless, self-centered, simply don’t give-a-crap-about-anyone drivers.  These are the kinds of people whose recklessness would cause an accident, then they’d turn around and blame you for it.  Yup, those are the assholes I’m looking to expose here.

You know, the kinds of people who pass traffic queued at an exit, and cut in at the front of the line, and hold up everyone in the next lane?   Of course those never get tickets.  But you’ll see them here, for driving like an idiot.

Over a year ago, while driving in New York City, Southbound on Broadway, in the middle lane, my car was sideswiped by a NYC t`axi, at about 116th Street.  The taxi had pulled up from behind me in the left lane, and without entirely passing me on the left, he decided to cut across three lanes of traffic to get a fare.  After clipping my front left fender, he took off!  Fortunately, my 2-year old, my wife and I were all OK.

I was livid.

The taxi tried to accelerate away, but we caught him a few blocks later at a light, boxed him in and called the police so we could get a report.

The police report said: Driver 1 claims driver 2 sideswiped them.  Driver 2 claims driver 1 sideswiped them.

Seriously.  Forget about filing an insurance claim, it’s the vindication that I was seeking.  That guy was driving like an asshole, with total disregard for other people on the road.   And I wanted proof.  Apparently that was not my charma.  However, I’ve found a way to speak up with this blog.

Since then, I’ve outfitted every car in my family with a dashboard camera.  This blog is dedicated to outing people who drive like idiots, and endanger the safety of other motorists who obey the rules.
